Terminology

Ensures that the translation software from SDL Trados is put to the best use possible

Tobias Wehrli ensures that the translation software from SDL Trados is put to the best use possible at TRANSLATION-PROBST Ltd. The program recognises all the technical terms, sentence fragments and sentences in your texts that we have translated for you previously and saves them in a data bank, which is available to our translators when they work on your documents. This guarantees the highest degree of consistency in translations and texts.

Tobias Wehrli received his Master’s degree in translation in 2008 (German-French-English-Italian) and since then has been working in the Department for Language Technology at the University of Geneva as a teaching and research assistant. This provides an excellent opportunity to further expand his knowledge in the area of computer-aided translation.
